Pamela J. Hinds is the Rodney H. Adams Professor in Stanford University's School of Engineering and Fortinet Founders Chair of the Department of Management Science and Engineering. She holds a PhD in Organizational Science and Management from Carnegie Mellon University (1997). Her research focuses on the interplay between technology, collaboration, and organizational dynamics, particularly in global and distributed work environments. She co-directs the Center on Work, Technology, and Organization and serves on the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design's Director's Council.
Hinds investigates cross-cultural collaboration, human-robot interaction, and the impact of emerging technologies on work practices.
