Pamela H Scott

Dr. Pamela H Scott is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Biosciences at the School of Life Sciences, University of Glasgow. Her career spans both research and education, with a focus on pedagogical innovation in bioscience teaching.

Her research interests include:

• E-Learning: Developing digital tools like the Molecular Methods App and Prime It DNA Game.
• Feedback and Assessment: Pioneering audio feedback systems and self-directed learning strategies.
• Bioscience Education: Bridging practical biology with theoretical understanding through active learning.
• RNA Polymerase III Transcription: Early work on signaling pathways in cancer and diabetes.

Recent articles highlight her shift to educational technology, including VR by-proxy for experiential learning and digital tools for microbiology teaching.
