Professor Pablo Ibáñez Colomo holds the position of Professor of Law at the LSE Law School, part of the London School of Economics and Political Science. He concurrently serves as an Ordinary Member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal and a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe (Bruges). He is also a Joint General Editor of the Journal of European Competition Law & Practice (Oxford University Press).
He earned a PhD from the European University Institute (2010), where he also received the Jacques Lassier Prize. Earlier, he completed an LLM at the College of Europe (Bruges) in 2004 and taught there for three years before joining the EUI as a Researcher in 2007. He has held visiting professorships at institutions including Aix-Marseille University, ITAM (Mexico), Kobe University (Japan), and Torcuato di Tella University (Argentina).
His expertise focuses on competition law and European Union law. His research and professional roles emphasize regulatory frameworks, antitrust practices, and the intersection of legal scholarship with institutional governance.
