Pablo Helguera is a Professor at The New School's College of Performing Arts. A New York-based artist, he specializes in socially engaged art, performance, and pedagogy, blending installation, sculpture, and literary strategies. His landmark project The School of Panamerican Unrest redefined nomadic public art. Prior to academia, he held leadership roles in museums, including Director of Adult and Academic Programs at MoMA (2007–present) and Head of Public Programs at the Guggenheim (1998–2005), organizing over 1000 events. He holds a PhD from Kingston University and an honorary PhD from the Kansas Art Institute.
