Pablo Garcia Bringas

Dr. Pablo Garcia Bringas is a Professor and Vicedean for External Affairs, Lifelong Learning, and Research at the University of Deusto. He holds a Doctorate in Computer Engineering, with expertise in applying Artificial Intelligence to Cybersecurity. His academic roles include leading the Faculty of Engineering’s research initiatives and directing the DeustoTech technology center.

• Education: Executive MBA (Deusto Business School), PhD in Computer Engineering, Masters in Telecommunications and Industrial Computing.

His research focuses on AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, Industry 4.0 innovations, and digital transformation. He has overseen over 100 R&D projects, securing €11 million in funding, and published 150+ scientific works. His team, 'Deusto for Knowledge,' was honored by the Basque Government as an Excellent Research Team.

He directs the Master’s in Information Security and the Executive Program in Industry 4.0. His leadership spans roles at DeustoTech and the Deusto Chair in Digital Industry, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
