Perica Donkov is a full Professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš. He holds an MA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (1984). Since 2009, he has served as Associate Professor and later Full Professor, contributing to art education and contemporary art practices. He has been a member of the Association of Fine Arts Artists of Serbia (ULUS) since 1983 and was recognized as a distinguished artist in 2004.
Donkov is a prominent figure in the neo-enformel movement, exhibiting widely since 1981. His work has featured in over 150 group exhibitions and 23 solo exhibitions across Serbia, Germany, Norway, and beyond. His paintings are housed in institutions like the Contemporary Art Museum in Belgrade, Belgrade City Museum, and international collections in cities like New York, London, and Venice.
His career highlights include awards such as the City Award of Niš and participation in major art events like the Yugoslav Documents 89 and the October Salon. He is affiliated with academic centers at the Faculty of Arts, including the Publishing Center, Balakn Art Forum, Computer-Information Center, and Multimedia Center.
