PEDRO RODRIGUEZ DAFONTE

Dr. Pedro Rodriguez Dafonte is a Professor in the Department of Physical Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Faculty of Chemistry. He earned his PhD in 2001 from the University of Vigo with a thesis on reactivity in biomimetic media. His research focuses on reaction mechanisms in microemulsions, surfactant systems, and supramolecular chemistry, particularly involving cyclodextrins and ionic liquids. He leads the ReactyCat research group (Reactivity and Catalysis).
