Professor P John Clarkson serves as Head of the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge and holds dual affiliations as a Principal Investigator and Steering Committee member for Cambridge Infectious Diseases. He leads the cross-institutional Engineering Better Care initiative with the Royal Academy of Engineering, Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Anaesthetists, and Academy of Medical Sciences.
