Dr. Ozlem Araci is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Organisations, Systems and People within the Faculty of Business & Law at the University of Portsmouth. She joined in 2021 after serving as Assistant Professor in Management Sciences at Istanbul University. She holds a PhD in Management and Organisation from Istanbul University, awarded with no corrections.
Her research focuses on:
- Diversity and inclusion in organizational practices
- Social impact of businesses and 'doing good for society'
- Organizational identity and strategic responses
- Policy-practice gaps in management approaches
Her publications primarily examine diversity management challenges, organizational responses to institutional environments, and international entrepreneurial cognition. Recent work analyzes ethical dimensions of diversity management and toxic workplace dynamics affecting inclusion.
