Dr. Otto Pantoja is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). He also serves as the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology director for Quality Initiative. His academic journey began with a medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in 2010.
Dr. Pantoja's clinical expertise spans abnormal uterine bleeding, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, hysteroscopy, basic infertility evaluation and treatment, and obstetric patient management. His career includes significant military service, where he held leadership roles as a staff Obstetrician and Gynecologist in various Army hospitals, culminating in his role as Department Chief at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital before retiring from active duty in 2018.
