Dr. Osiris Jorge Parcero is a Tenured Contract Senior Lecturer at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), Department of Applied Economics. His academic career spans roles as a Visiting Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Assistant Professor at UAE University, Associate Professor at Kazakh-British Technical University, and Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Bristol (UK) and received the European Doctoral Thesis Competition First Prize (€6,000) from the EU's Committee of the Regions in 2006.
