Oshadhee Satarasinghe

Oshadhee Satarasinghe is a Lecturer specializing in early childhood and music education. She holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Music Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano and Voice Education from institutions in the United States, and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Music Education at the University of Calgary. Certified in both Orff Schulwerk and Kodály pedagogical approaches, she brings over 11 years of teaching experience across multiple countries and educational levels.

Her research focuses on innovative pedagogical strategies in music education, particularly through guided and creative learning frameworks. Key interests include curriculum development for young learners, interdisciplinary music instruction, and fostering musical accessibility.
