Omid Razmkhah

Omid Razmkhah is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University, serving as MEng course director. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomechanics Engineering from Kingston University London (2014). His expertise spans biomechanics, crashworthiness engineering, and advanced composite materials. Prior roles include lecturer and senior lecturer at Coventry University since 2015. He has supervised multiple MSc and two Ph.D. students, completing one doctoral supervision to date.

Research focuses on energy absorption mechanisms in composite structures, finite element modeling, and biomimetic design. Key contributions include studies on sandwich panels, bio-inspired tubular composites, and laser manufacturing optimization. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to industry innovation and climate action.

Active in academic conferences, he participated in the 19th International Congress of European Society of Biomechanics (2013) and the 2nd International Symposium on Environment Friendly Energies and Applications (2012). Current research explores sustainable materials, emission reduction strategies, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
