Omar M Bah

Omar M Bah is a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of The Gambia and an Associate Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), where he researches regional interventions by the African Union (AU) and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Burkina Faso and the Gambia.

His primary research interests include security studies, conflict analysis, political dynamics in West Africa, and international relations. He has contributed to understanding the legitimacy and complexity of regional peacekeeping efforts through publications on local perceptions of AU and ECOWAS missions.
