Omar Gueye

Omar Gueye serves as Professor of History at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Senegal, with significant international academic engagements including a Visiting Scholar position at the European University Institute during Fall 2017 and the WIGH Fellowship for 2013-2014.

His research specialization centers on Labor History and Social History within African contexts, with concentrated focus on postwar French West Africa during the 20th century.
