Olov Lund

Olov Lund is a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University affiliated with the Department of Economic History and International Relations. From 2024 to 2025, he serves as a guest researcher at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.

• Research Focus: Late Medieval Sweden (1440–1520), state-building processes, social networks, spatial practices, and economic systems.
• Teaching: Economic History I/II, qualitative methods, and genealogical/paleographical techniques.

Methodological Innovation: Development of anthrospace framework analyzing interplay between social networks, material resources, and spatial movement. His work challenges traditional constitutional interpretations of the Swedish state by emphasizing informal, practical-spatial dimensions of governance.
