Oliver Wiener is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Academic Councillor at the Institute for Music Research, University of Würzburg. He has been affiliated with the university since 2004, serving as a research assistant, academic councilor (2009), and senior academic councilor (2018). His roles include curator of the Study Collection of Musical Instruments & Media and membership on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Georg Kinsky Institute at Leipzig University.
