Oliver Valerius

Dr. Oliver Valerius is a Senior Lecturer and Group Leader of the Mass Spectrometry - Yeast Group at Georg-August University Göttingen, affiliated with the Biological Faculty and Department of Molecular Microbiology and Genetics. He has held his current positions since 2017 (Senior Academic Councillor) and 2007 (Group Leader). His research focuses on proteomics, mass spectrometry applications in yeast systems, and signal transduction pathways like Asc1/RACK1-dependent mechanisms.

• PhD (Dr. rer. Nat.) in Biology, Georg-August University (2001)
• Postdoctoral research in Molecular Microbiology and Genetics (2001–2003)
