Oliver John Semmes is the Director of the Leroy T. Canoles Jr. Cancer Research Center and a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Cell Biology at Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University. He has held these positions since 2009 and 2004 respectively, with prior academic roles including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at other institutions.
