Prof. Dr. Oliver Gutfleisch is a W3 Professor of Functional Materials at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, and Scientific Manager of the Fraunhofer IWKS Division Functional Materials in Hanau. His research focuses on designing magnetic materials for energy applications, including advanced permanent magnets, caloric cooling technologies, and biomedical nanoparticles.
