Oliver Christ

Dr. Oliver Christ serves as a Lecturer at the School of Applied Psychology at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), where he has been actively teaching since 2013. His academic work bridges engineering psychology with health applications, focusing on human-technology interaction in diverse contexts.

His research interests span psychophysiology, usability engineering, virtual reality applications, and prosthetics. Christ's work demonstrates strong interdisciplinary connections between psychology, human factors engineering, and digital technology development. He has made significant contributions to understanding human responses in virtual environments and developing practical applications for healthcare and education.

Christ has published extensively in top-tier journals including ACM Transactions on Human-Robot Interaction and Frontiers in Virtual Reality, with recent work examining immersive VR in educational contexts, human-robot interaction, and cross-cultural usability.
