Olga Velasco Roldán

Dr. Olga Velasco Roldán is a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Balearic Islands since 2002, affiliated with the Department of Physiotherapy under the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy. She holds a PhD from the University of Cádiz (2013), preceded by a Degree in Physiotherapy (1998) and a Degree in Kinesiology and Physical Medicine (2007).

Her research focuses on Health and Sport, Lifestyle and Health, and Chronic Pain. She contributes to the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience and Clinical Psychology (CANCLIP) group at IUNICS-UIB, the Health Research Institute in Balearic Islands (IdISBa), and collaborates with EVES (Evidence, Life Estils i Salut).

She teaches courses such as Physiotherapy in Traumatology, Prácticum I, and Final Degree Project in Physiotherapy. She advises PhD candidates in programs like Neuroscience and Global Health. Office hours require prior booking.
