Dr. Olga Berkout is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Director of the ETX-CBS Lab at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her work focuses on contextual behavioral science strategies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), self-compassion, and mindfulness, with a particular emphasis on digital mental health solutions. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mississippi and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland College Park. Dr. Berkout teaches courses including Applied Therapy, Clinical Skills, and Evidence-Based Psychotherapy.
Her research explores transdiagnostic processes in psychological well-being, rural mental health challenges, and technology-driven approaches to improve healthcare accessibility.
