Dr. Olanike Maria Buraimoh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Lagos' Faculty of Science. She is a globally recognized researcher in environmental biotechnology with a focus on microbial solutions for sustainability challenges, including bioremediation, air quality monitoring, and waste-to-energy systems. She leads academic-industry collaborations and has held visiting positions at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and Ohio State University (USA).
