Olaf Stuve

Dr. Olaf Stuve is a tenured Professor in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Head of the MS/Neuroimmunology Section. He is also Chief of Neurology at the Dallas VA Medical Center, where he cares for veterans with multiple sclerosis (MS) and neurological disorders. His research focuses on CNS autoimmunity, blood-brain barrier mechanisms, and experimental therapies for autoimmune diseases. Key contributions include studies on myeloid cells, microglia, and molecular markers of autoimmunity. Dr. Stuve has led numerous clinical trials and has over 300 publications.

• Education: Medical degree from Free University of Berlin, Ph.D. in Immunology from Maastricht University, postdoctoral training at McGill University and UCSF.
