Océane Garandel is an Assistant Professor at the Global Studies Institute (GSI) and a doctoral student in the Department of Political Science and International Relations (SPERI) at the University of Geneva. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences (2024) and a Complementary Certificate in Geomatics (2024) from the University of Geneva, alongside a European Bachelor's degree in Political Science from ESPOL (European School of Political and Social Sciences - Université Catholique de Lille) (2020).
Research Interests: Her work centers on environmental policy, international cooperation, and strategies for adapting to climate change. Her Master's research focused on perceptions of agricultural land degradation in Fatick, Senegal, and the adaptation measures employed by local communities and governments.
