Obert Hodzi

Dr. Obert Hodzi is a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Liverpool, focusing on non-Western emerging powers in global governance, conflict and security, and China-Africa relations. His research integrates empirical expertise on China and Africa with theoretical insights into democratic governance and transitional justice.

His recent publications examine the African Belt and Road Initiative, China-Africa engagements, and BRICS complexities. Dr. Hodzi teaches modules on international human rights, transnational security, and dissertation supervision.
