Nuria Abal Alonso

Nuria Abal Alonso is a Lecturer in the Department of Didactics and School Organisation at the School of Education, University of Santiago de Compostela. She teaches core courses across Social Education, Primary Education, and Pedagogy degree programs with a focus on digital integration in contemporary educational practices.

Her research interests center on Educational Technology and Social Education, particularly examining digital media's role in learning environments and professional development. As an active member of the Educational Research Group: MESTURA, she investigates pedagogical innovations for the digital age through projects analyzing social web dynamics and technology-enhanced teaching methodologies.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, her teaching responsibilities include:
