Nompilo Ndlovu is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the A.W. Mellon funded History Access programme at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and an adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy. She is an alumnus of the Africa Leadership Centre (King’s Global Institutes) and holds a PhD in Historical Studies from UCT (2019).
Her work focuses on:
- Gender and Development in South African communities
- Leadership practices through the Africa Leadership Centre
- Historical Studies and Peacebuilding
- African Women’s Participation in Security and Leadership
- Public Policy and Social Science research
She has participated in notable fellowships and programs such as the Peace and Security Fellowship for African Women and the Women’s Funding Network Bridge Builder initiative.
