Dr. Noah Cochran is a Limited Term Instructor in the School of Social Sciences at the University of West Georgia. He earned his B.A. in psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University (2012), followed by M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology from University of West Georgia.
His research explores intersections of academia and popular culture, focusing on how language and speech activities shape relationships between individuals and cultural systems. Current projects investigate ideological influences on decision-making, popular culture's role in meaning construction, and dynamic models of selfhood.
Teaching responsibilities include Introduction to General Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Abnormal Psychology, and Personality Theories.
