Nisha Warbington

Nisha Warbington, PhD is an Interim Program Chair and Core Faculty Member in the Counseling & Related Programs department at Prescott College. She also serves as the Data and Assessment Coordinator for the Counselor Education program.

• Education: PhD in Counselor Education from the University of Alabama

Dr. Warbington's research and teaching interests focus on mental health literacy, resilience development, and counselor supervision. Her clinical expertise includes trauma and attachment therapies, with certifications as a Theraplay practitioner and Emotionally Focused Therapist. She has developed and delivered workshops on mental health, play therapy, and online counseling methods.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, she provides clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults specializing in trauma and attachment. Her professional contributions include leadership roles in the Alabama Counseling Association and scholarly presentations on destressing and attachment topics.
