Dr. Nipa Rani Sarker is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Environmental and Rural Science at the University of New England, specializing in Meat Science. Her research focuses on enhancing meat quality, sustainability, and genetic improvements in livestock. She holds a Ph.D. in Animal Genetics and Breeding (2022) and has over eight years of teaching experience in Bangladesh, previously contributing to the Department of Genetics and Animal Breeding at VAS, HSTU.
Dr. Sarker’s education includes an M.Sc. in Animal Breeding and Genetics (Bangladesh Agricultural University, 2011) and a B.Sc. in Animal Husbandry (2009). She has been honored with prestigious scholarships such as the UNE DVCR Scholarship, UNE RTP Scholarship, AABT Scholarship, and NSTI Fellowship. Her work bridges genetics, animal husbandry, and consumer preferences, with a strong emphasis on advancing breeding programs and meat science.
