Ninke Feenstra is a researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy, currently working on the EU Horizon Brightspace project. She began her PhD in April 2023 under the supervision of Dr. Esther Gehrke, Dr. Michiel van Dijk, and Prof. Dr. Hans van Meijl.
Her work focuses on designing effective and sustainable strategies for EU agriculture by developing tools to assess policy impacts on social justice at the micro level. This research intersects agricultural economics, rural policy development, and sustainability frameworks.
