Dr. Ningrong Lei is an Associate Professor in Systems Engineering and Course Leader for MSc Advanced Engineering and Management at Sheffield Hallam University. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her research focuses on leveraging systems engineering and AI-driven wearable technology to develop scalable multi-disease detection systems for conditions like atrial fibrillation and sleep apnoea. She has spearheaded clinical studies validating home-based diagnostics and secured Innovate UK funding for stroke prevention initiatives.
