Ning Liu

Ning Liu is a Senior Lecturer in Nanophysics at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Limerick, Ireland. She joined the university as a lecturer in 2013 and specializes in scanning probe microscopy and ultrafast spectroscopy techniques.

• B.S. in Physics from Peking University, China (1995-1999)
• Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of California at Irvine, USA (1999-2005)

Her research centers on Nanophotonics, Plasmonics, and Light Emitting Diodes, leveraging advanced scanning probe microscopy and ultrafast spectroscopy to investigate nanoscale optical phenomena and device applications.
