Nina Smith

Nina Smith is a Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Aarhus University. She has held leadership roles, including Pro Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs (2007-09) and Research Director at the Center for Research in Integration and Marginalization (CIM). Her academic career spans multiple institutions, including the University of Southern Denmark as Adjunct Professor and the University of Aarhus in various capacities since 1981.

Research Focus: Her work centers on education economics, labour supply and taxation, women’s career policies, and migration integration. She explores how family-friendly policies and intergenerational mobility affect economic outcomes, particularly for women in leadership roles.
