Nina Christensen is a Professor at Aarhus University's School of Communication and Culture, Department of Comparative Literature and Rhetoric. She heads the Center for Children's Literature and Media and teaches in the Master's in Children's Literature and Media (Danish) and the Erasmus Mundus Children's Literature, Media and Cultural Entrepreneurship program.
- Research Focus: Depictions of Greenland-Denmark relations in Danish children's picturebooks (1930-1960), transnational media interactions, and historical reading cultures.
- Supervision: PhD projects on racism in Danish children's classics, Russian picturebooks, queer fantasy, and more.
