Nilufer Cetik

Nilufer Cetik is a doctoral student and Researcher at the Morrison School of Agribusiness within the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She is a Grad Research Associate and works in Dr. Carola Grebitus’ lab, while also serving as a Ph.D. Ambassador at W. P. Carey School of Business. Her research focuses on consumers' decision-making processes, particularly promoting healthy dietary habits and informed food choices, employing experimental methodologies like auctions and choice experiments. Earlier work involved health and education economics using secondary data. She aims to become an academic in Experimental and Behavioral Economics under Agricultural Economics.

Research Interests: Nilufer’s research interests include consumer behavior, food choice analysis, and health economics. Her ongoing project examines the effect of meditation on healthy food consumption, blending experimental economics with behavioral insights. She employs both primary (e.g., lab experiments) and secondary data to explore how psychological factors influence dietary decisions.
