Dr. Nilmini Weerasinghe is a Lecturer in Digital and Sustainable Construction within the School of Engineering at RMIT University, Australia. Her research focuses on smart construction, digital technologies, and sustainability, particularly in Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), asset management, lifecycle assessments, and circular economy principles. She integrates machine learning, AI, IoT, BIM, and digital twins into sustainable construction practices.
Teaching interests include Digital Transformation for Sustainable Construction, Infrastructure Planning and Management, and Asset Management.
