Niklas Eder

Niklas Eder serves as a Visiting Lecturer in Law at the Dickson Poon School of Law (King's College London) and holds the role of Senior Policy Officer at the Oversight Board. His work focuses on automated content moderation, systemic risk assessments, and the interplay between AI systems and human rights. Previously, he was a Fellow at Yale Law School’s Information Society Project and a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University. He has taught courses such as 'Law in the Algorithmic Society' and 'European Union Law' across multiple institutions including Humboldt University Berlin and the Free University Berlin.

His recent presentations include discussions on 'Systemic Risk Assessments in Content Moderation' and 'How AI Creates a Deterministic World'. He remains affiliated with the European Law School’s research initiatives and contributes to international academic networks through the EPEDER doctoral program.
