Nikhil Singh

Nikhil Singh, MD, PhD is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine (Nephrology) at Yale School of Medicine. He holds a dual MD/PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Cornell University. Dr. Singh’s research focuses on kidney injury mechanisms, regenerative biology, and translational therapeutics, utilizing advanced imaging mass cytometry and biomarker discovery. He currently serves as Medical Director of Early Clinical Development at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, developing therapies for kidney and immunologic diseases.

His work bridges basic science and clinical translation, emphasizing novel therapeutic development.

Professional Roles: In addition to his academic position, Dr. Singh oversees clinical development programs at Regeneron, focusing on nephrology and immunology. He maintains active collaborations with Yale faculty including Dr. Lloyd Cantley and Dr. Gilbert Moeckel.
