Nihal AYDIN

Nihal AYDIN is an Assistant Professor at Kastamonu University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Midwifery since 2020. Previously, she worked at Kastamonu University's Taşköprü Vocational School (2012-2020) and served as Associate Dean (2021-present) and Department Chair (2012-2013). She earned a Doctorate in Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing (2010-2018) and two Master's degrees (2006-2009, 2006-2008) from Marmara and Ankara Universities, respectively.

She has contributed to understanding intergenerational trauma transmission and healthcare quality standards. Her recent projects involve TÜBİTAK funding and online preconception counseling for pregnancy planning.

Collaborations span institutions like Marmara University, Istanbul Aydın University, and Düzce University. She is a member of professional associations including the Turkish Midwives Association and Turkish Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Association.
