Nigel Reynard

Nigel Reynard is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute for English Business Communication at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).

His educational background includes studies in French, German and European Studies at the University of Bath, followed by a law conversion course (Common Professional Examination) and a Master's degree (LL.M.) in International Commercial Law.

Mr. Reynard has a diverse professional background, having worked as an exchange lecturer at WU from 2001 to 2004, followed by 12 years in the business world in Vienna (including roles at PwC), before rejoining WU as a full-time lecturer in October 2016.

His research interests focus on:

• The English legal system
• Legal English, particularly English for commercial contracts
• Language register issues when dealing with clients and potential clients
