Nigel Banerjee is a Visiting Lecturer at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, where he teaches on LLB and LLM programmes. His roles include instructing undergraduate courses on Company Law and postgraduate modules on Corporate Governance, Legal Issues in Corporate Finance, and Regulation of Mergers and Acquisitions. He has authored key texts such as The ICSA Company Law Handbook and edited International Corporate Procedures, while contributing to major legal publications like Gore-Browne on Companies and Butterworths Corporate Law Service.
Professor Banerjee holds a law degree from King’s College London (1990s) and previously worked in the City of London before returning to academia in 2011. His research focuses on corporate law, M&A regulation, and governance frameworks, with particular expertise in transnational corporate practices. He is also a sought-after trainer for solicitors and professionals via Central Law Training and ICSA.
He supervises LLM dissertations in areas such as company law, public M&A, and corporate finance. His publications reflect deep engagement with legal frameworks shaping corporate behavior, emphasizing practical applications for legal practitioners and businesses.
