Dr. Nida Zahra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School. Board-certified in Family Medicine, she completed her medical degree at Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan and her residency at the University of Tennessee Family Medicine Program, where she was elected Chief Resident and named Top Graduate in her class.
Her clinical and research interests focus on preventive health care, women's health, adolescent medicine, and chronic disease management including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. Outside medicine, she enjoys cultural exploration, traveling, and is conversant in Spanish.
