Nicole Wenderoth

Prof. Nicole Wenderoth is a Full Professor in the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zürich. Her research focuses on understanding the neural basis of motor functions, particularly in neurological patients and those with developmental disorders like autism. She employs advanced imaging (fMRI) and stimulation techniques (TMS, tDCS) to study complex movement production, skill acquisition, and rehabilitation strategies.

Education: M.Sc. in Kinesiology (German Sport University, 1996), Ph.D. in Kinesiology (2000). Postdoc at KU Leuven (2001–2006), then Assistant/Associate Professor before becoming Full Professor at ETH (2012).
