Nicole Miller is an Associate Professor at the University of California San Diego, working primarily with video installation and sculpture. Her practice explores the reconstitution of personal histories and bodily identity through active viewing. She is based in Southern California and holds affiliations with UCSD's Faculty of Arts.
Her work has been exhibited in major institutions including SFMOMA, LA County Museum of Art, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and international venues like the Marfa Ballroom and Centre D’art Contemporain Geneva. Notable solo exhibitions include presentations at Kunst Werk Berlin and The Highline NYC.
