Nicolas Isambert

Nicolas Isambert is a Professor at the University of Poitiers (Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacology) and a Medical Oncologist at Poitiers University Hospital. He holds leadership roles as Director of the Cancerology Center, Director of the Medical Oncology Unit, and Head of the DITTOH (Department of Therapeutic Innovations/Translational Research in Oncology and Haematology) at Poitiers University Hospital (CIC INSERM 1402). His work focuses on breast cancer, brain metastases, and translational research. He previously directed the CLIP2 platform at the Georges François Leclerc Center in Dijon for ten years.

Research areas include the HIPPO signaling pathway in brain tumors, TAM receptors/Protein S system in metastasis, and tumor-derived exosomes. His expertise spans early-phase clinical trials, with ongoing efforts to secure the CLIP2 label for Poitiers by 2024.

He leads multidisciplinary initiatives in therapeutic innovation and oncology/hematology research, integrating clinical, translational, and fundamental approaches.
