About
Nicolas Burlion is a Professor at the University of Lille within Polytech Lille (School of Engineering). His research focuses on durability of civil engineering structures under heavy loads and thermo-hydro-mechanical-chemical (THMC) couplings in cement matrix materials. He is affiliated with the UMR 9013 - Multi-Physics Multi-Scale Mechanics Laboratory.
His work addresses critical challenges in concrete structure design and long-term material behavior under extreme conditions. Research areas include multi-physics interactions in construction materials and mechanical engineering applications for civil infrastructure.
