Nicola Rimella is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Structural, Building and Geotechnical Engineering (DISEG), working through the 38th cycle (2022-2025). He serves as an External Collaborator for Internationalization, Cooperation, Alliances and Mobility (INCAM) and works as an External lecturer across multiple engineering programs.
His research interests focus on digital technologies in civil engineering:

- Machine Learning for tunnel information model reconstruction
- Virtual and Augmented Reality in architectural design
